Carshalton Lavender

On Saturday I had a stand at the Carshalton Lavender Open weekend selling my paintings, prints, silk scarves and some jewellery. The weather stayed sunny and not too hot. One of the things I like best about this event is that I meet people who have come in previous years and a couple asked me to work on a commission which I will look forward to doing for them.

 Also there is no shortage of cupcakes! (see below)

Monday Moodboard

This morning I have been making up bunches of lavender that I picked from the local field where I had my exhibition described in yesterday's post. The scent is wonderful. I picked purple, mauve, pink and white lavenders. The above photo was taken at Castle Farm Lavender a few weeks ago

So the theme of my Monday Moodboard for the European Street Team on etsy is lavender. I have found these lovely things from some of the team members. They would have fitted in so well at our event.
